The WhatsApp messaging application took over the update that users have requested for a while. With the update released in the beta version, it will be possible to respond to messages.
The WhatsApp messaging application, with around 1.6 billion users worldwide, is preparing to launch a new function. With the update published in the beta version, the functions of many applications also come to WhatsApp. It will be possible to respond to messages on WhatsApp that released beta version 126.96.36.199 for Android users.
A similar function is also available on Facebook and Instagram. It’s not clear when this update will be available to everyone in WhatsApp under the umbrella of Meta (Facebook’s new name). Instead of replying to a message, you can now just like the message. Messages via the popular WhatsApp messaging app were protected by end-to-end encryption.
However, this does not apply to the backup. The company is making changes to this application which some users consider to be a security flaw. According to a statement from Facebook, which bought WhatsApp in 2014, some users will have access to the new backup function from Thursday. In other words, conversations that were backed up to Google Drive or Apple iCloud are now encrypted end-to-end. All users will be activated during the update period.
